Himalayan Salt Lamp Oil Burner
This Himalayan salt lamp is made by hand. It also has a small metal dish fitted into the top.
That dish is where the fragrance oil goes.
Inside the lamp is an E14 pygmy bulb. As the bulb gets warm, the heat reaches the metal dish above and slowly warms the oil. After a while the fragrance starts to come through into the room.
It is a simple setup, but it means you get a lamp and an oil burner together in one piece.
How It Looks When Switched On
The salt is naturally pink when the lamp is off.
Once the bulb is on, more of an orange colour starts to show through the rock. The metal dish sits inside the top of the lamp rather than looking like a separate piece stuck on afterwards.
As the lamp is made from natural salt, you may see a few darker marks or lighter patches around the outside.
They are made by hand too, so no two will look the same.
A side table, shelf or cabinet would all be easy places to put one.
You only need a little fragrance oil in the dish.
The metal bowl does warm up while the lamp is on. You should leave it for a bit before picking it up or moving anything.
