Metal Himalayan Salt Lamp Basket
This Himalayan salt lamp is made with a metal basket filled with smaller pieces of rock salt rather than one large chunk.
The open basket changes the whole look of it. You can see the separate pieces of salt inside and the light works its way through the gaps between them once the lamp is switched on.
It comes with the bulb and cable included.
Using One in the Bedroom
This type of lamp is easy enough to keep on a bedside cabinet or chest of drawers if you have a bit of space for it.
The basket shape is quite different from a normal bedside lamp. There is no lampshade and you can see the salt from every side.
When the bulb is on you get little pockets of light between the pieces. Some chunks show more of the light while others stay darker.
It is better used as an extra light rather than something to light the whole bedroom.
A Basket Full of Natural Salt

You might find a few bigger chunks mixed in with smaller ones and the colour can be different across the basket too.
