White Himalayan Salt Lamp

Most Himalayan salt lamps have a fairly strong pink or orange colour. This one is much lighter.

The salt can look almost white in places, although you may still see cream, pale pink or slightly darker areas through it. That variation is part of the rock itself rather than something added afterwards.

When the lamp is off you notice more of the pale salt and its rough surface. Switch it on and the colour changes a little as the light comes through from inside. Some areas may pick up more warmth while others stay quite light.

It sits on a wooden base which gives the bottom of the lamp a solid finish and keeps the salt standing properly.

A bulb and cable are included too, so you have the main parts needed to use the lamp.

Every piece of salt is different, the shape will vary a little. One lamp might be taller and narrower while another is slightly wider. You may also see natural lines or rough areas around the outside.

The white colour gives this lamp quite a different appearance from the more common pink versions. It is worth looking through the product photos before ordering so you get a good idea of the general style, although the exact piece you receive will naturally have its own markings and shade.
