Plug-in Night Light Salt Lamp
This is a small plug-in light made from natural Himalayan rock salt from Pakistan.
During the day, most of what you notice is the salt itself. It has a pink colour with different shades running through the rock. Some pieces are lighter than others and you may see darker patches or lines in the salt.
Once the lamp is switched on, the colour changes quite a bit. The light shines through the rock and brings out more of the orange and pink tones.
It will not look completely even all the way around. The light will not come through the salt evenly. One part might look brighter while another stays a little darker. That is just down to the natural thickness of the rock.
It plugs straight into the mains, so the main thing is finding somewhere close enough to a socket.
You could have it beside the bed, in the hallway or anywhere else you only want a bit of light rather than turning the main light on.
Just make sure it has a steady place to sit and that the cable is not trailing across the floor.
There is not much to do when it comes to cleaning it either.
Salt can take on moisture if it is left somewhere wet.
Each lamp has its own markings and colour, so the one you receive will have its own natural look.
